Mission, Goals And Objectives
CADROP’s mission is to mount effective, evidence-based community projects and policy advocacy in order to achieve the inclusion of older persons in national development and, ultimately, to enhance their quality of life.
CADROP’s overall goal is to foster the implementation of recommendations of the United Nations Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing (MIPAA), and the African Union Policy Framework and plan of Action on Ageing (AU Plan) in Nigeria.
To this end, the key objectives of CADROP’s operations are to:

- Mount incisive and accessible policy advocacy and awareness-raising initiatives, specifically on enforcing rights- and eradicating abuse and discrimination of older persons
- Develop effective community-based projects to deliver key social services to older persons
- Foster capacity and skill-building among relevant social sector practitioners and professionals
